| We are looking for a manufacturer who can build to spec the highest MUSEUM quality American, French and English reproduction furniture. We will use MDF on our dining tables over SOLID Mahogany or Walnut or whatever woods we use but on both sides. I am in need of a factory who has access getting various Plate 1 veneers and solid woods such as mahogany Honduras, cuban mahogany and/or South American Mahogany and Black Figured Walnut, Cherry, tiger maple, curly maple, oak etc. We have full scale furniture blue prints along with photos to make them exact. All these woods need to be properly kiln dried to prevent any damage from climate change. We only want Plate 1 high grade veneers for our inlay work and need woods and veneers such as crotch mahogany, satinwood, tulipwood, Brazilian rosewood, kingswood, holliwood, ebony, ebony macassar, cormondel, amboyna and much more. Some of our furniture pieces will be in need of highly decorative inlay work and marquetry work of the highest quality. All of our finishes need to be High gloss and grain filled PE and PU finishes. Grain filling the veneers for our tables, chairs, chests etc to make our table tops look like wet glass. We are looking for factories who have MASTER wood carvers as some of our pieces are very elaborate with large carvings of cherubs, angels and full figural bodies, and faces with Chippendale Sheraton Hepplewhite Regency Duncan Phyfe styles. We will be competing with top furniture makers in the US so the furniture needs to be BETTER than our competition such as Baker, Henredon, Stickley etc. For our upholstery we will need high quality damascus silk upholstery of scalamadre quality or Bushwig & Fils. and top quality Italian leathers. We will also need capability to get the best in high quality polished brass and bronze for all of our furniture for our casters, wheels, door hinges, back plates, mortise locks, decorative brass furniture trim, pull handles, etc. The brass and bronze hardware has to be of the highest quality with designs etched into the castings such as lion paw feet and floral patterns for decorative use. .It is also important for the factory to be able to do gold leaf work using REAL gold leaf and hand paint decorations for the furniture as well. We also need lucite and acrylic for some of our modern and art deco designs.
